Doc At Essex County Hospital Center Gets 2nd COVID Vaccine Shot

The medical director of occupational health and medicine at the hospital center in Cedar Grove got a second shot of the Moderna vaccine.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — The medical director of occupational health and medicine at the Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove is now among a growing list of people who have gotten their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

On Saturday, Naipaul Rambaran rolled up his sleeve for a second shot of the Moderna vaccine at the Essex County Vaccination Center at Essex County College in Newark.

Rambaran was among the first health care professionals to receive their first dose of the vaccine when Essex County opened its vaccination centers in December.

Essex County has administered more than 25,000 doses at its five vaccination sites within 20 days, officials reported last weekend.
