Dog Reunited With Family After Going Missing In Montclair

Rain, an Australian Shepherd, went missing in Montclair. She was found in Glen Ridge at 3 a.m.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A dog reported lost in Montclair has been found and is back home with her family.

Rain, an Australian Shepherd, went missing near Pine Street and Bloomfield Avenue on July 14, her owner previously said. A reward was offered with “no questions asked” in an effort to find the “shy but friendly” pooch.

On Wednesday, the Montclair Animal Shelter reported the canine and her family were reunited.

“Rain is home safe and sound,” the shelter reported. “She was found in Glen Ridge by [police] at 3 a.m.”
