Edgemont Marks International Day Of Peace
The annual event kicked off Edgemont's Peace Curriculum and NJ Week of Respect.
On Friday, Edgemont Montessori celebrated International Day of Peace with its annual Peace assembly and parade featuring the Edgemont Dove of Peace.
The event was filled with songs, skits on conflict resolution, and speeches on the peacemakers Jane Goodall and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Following the assembly, the children participated in a parade, waving doves of peace that were created in art class.
