‘Get In My Car:’ Attempted Luring Reported In Montclair, Cops Say
A driver allegedly approached a victim and said, "Let me get your Snapchat." Then he asked her to get in his car, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — An attempted luring was recently reported in Montclair, authorities said Monday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the incident took place on Thursday.
The victim told officers that an unknown driver approached her as she was walking from her home to the area of South Park Street. He repeatedly told her, “Hey come over to my car … Let me get your Snapchat.”

When the victim refused, the man allegedly told her “Hey, get in my car,” police said.
After the victim refused again, the vehicle left the scene, traveling north on Orange Road towards Hillside Avenue, authorities said.

The suspect was described as a man in his early 20's with a slender build, short dark hair and a “stubble beard.” He was wearing a black t-shirt, police said. The vehicle was described as a grey, four-door sedan.
