Gunshots Fired In Montclair, But No Victims Or Damage: Police

Montclair police found three shell casings in the street. There were no victims, and no witnesses came forward, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Gunshots were apparently fired in Montclair last week, but no victims were reported and no cars or homes were hit, authorities said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to Mission Street at 5:21 p.m. on Friday after getting a report about gunshots.

After arriving at the scene, officers found three shell casings in the street. There were no victims, and no witnesses came forward, police said.

Officers didn’t find any damage to vehicles or homes in the area, authorities said.
