Help Adoptable Animals In Montclair Find Homes For The Holidays

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A smile-inducing cast of cats and dogs at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter are in need of loving homes for the holidays.

For those searching for a new pet, the Montclair shelter will be holding a “Home for the Holidays” promotion this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a $5 adoption fee for all adult animals, including spay/ neuter, all vaccines and rabies vaccine, heart worm/ lyme test, felv/fiv test, heart worm prevention, flea treatment and microchip.

The shelter – which complies with COVID-19 safety procedures – is currently doing adoption meet and greets by appointment only. Cats will be done via Zoom and dogs outside in the courtyard.
