Here's How To Throw Out A Christmas Tree In Montclair
Looking to discard your Christmas tree after a happy holiday? Here's how to do it in Montclair.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Looking to discard your Christmas tree after a happy holiday? Here’s how to do it in Montclair.
Township officials shared the following reminder on Jan. 3:
"Christmas trees placed at the curb will be picked up on a weekly basis during the entire month of January. Our vendor, Natures Choice, chips and recycles the trees as compost, so the stand, plastic bag cover, and all lights and tinsel must be removed before placing at the curb. For trees already at the curb in bags, the bags must be removed from trees for pick up, otherwise Natures Choice will not collect them. Wreaths will be collected separately with refuse."
