Have a Fondness for Felines? Montclair Animal Shelter Cuts Adoption Fees to $5

Looking for a furry feline friend? Then take a break from your Black Friday shopping and dash over to the Montclair Township Animal Shelter this weekend for a Special Adoption Event at which fees will be cut to $5 for three days only.

Indeed, if you've ever considered adding a cat or kitten to your family then now is the time. The shelter is bursting at the seams with cats in need of a home, and so it holding its adoption event Friday through Sunday, November 26, 27, and 28.

An adorable playful kitten named Boots and every other cat or kitten can be adopted for a fee of only five bucks. In total, there are more than 80 cats and kittens looking for their fur-ever homes.

All animals have been seen by a vet, vaccinated, and neutered or spayed. The costs were covered by Best Friends Animal Society, which recently awarded the shelter a $1,000 grant for these services.

Event hours are:

November 26 and 27: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
November 28: 2 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Goodies and soft drinks will be offered.
