Jewelry Swiped from James Street Home

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Police are currently investigating the Wednesday, May 15 burglary of a James Street home in which jewelry and loose change were stolen while the home was empty.

Police were called to the home at 8:16 p.m. after the apparent victim reported coming home to find several bedroom dresser drawers opened with clothing and other belongings strewn on the floor. 

Police said no notable signs of forced entry were found and that incident is believed to have taken place between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. that same day.

The only items reported missing were pieces of jewelery and loose change. No value for the jewelry was immediately provided by the victim, according to police.
