Yogi Berra’s Home In New Jersey May Have New Owner (PHOTOS)
The Essex County home of late baseball great Yogi Berra may have found a new owner. Take a peek inside.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — The former Essex County home of late baseball great Yogi Berra may have found a new owner.
The house at 61 Wayside Place in Montclair, which was listed for sale on May 26, went under contract Aug. 29 with a closing scheduled for Nov. 16, Montclair Local reported. No additional information was immediately available about the possible buyer or selling price.
The home was initially listed at $3.19 million in May, but the price tag was later reduced to $2.79 million, according to Realtor.com. As of Friday, the property was listed as “off-market” on the website.

The Berras moved to a home on Highland Avenue in 1974, selling the Wayside Place property to to real estate developer John Cali. Berra passed away in 2015.
