Man Snatches Irvington Woman’s Purse In Montclair: Police
A 66-year-old woman was standing at a crosswalk when a man grabbed her purse and fled, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A man snatched a woman’s purse and fled the scene in a car last week in Montclair, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the victim, a 66-year-old Irvington woman, was standing at the crosswalk at Upper Mountain and Normal avenues on Feb. 17, when a man grabbed her purse.
The man, who was dressed in all gray clothes, then got into the passenger seat of a gray Toyota sedan, which fled the scene southbound on Upper Mountain Avenue, police said.

There were no injuries reported, police stated.
