MHS Teachers Featured in Article Written by MHS Junior for Top Music Website

Budding music journalist, Junior Eli Zeger, is the youngest paid contributor to Noisey.com

The favorite bands of seven Montclair High School teachers are featured in an article by MHS Junior Eli Zeger, 16, on the website Noisey.com, the online music channel of Vice Media.

MHS teachers who were profiled were science teachers Jaymar Bugg and Kevin Sampson, Thomas Esposito who teaches math, English teachers Andrea Bonvini and Kersy Corporan. Additionally, history teacher Brian Ford and social studies teacher Rebecca Novalis were profiled.

Zeger, who has a column on Noisey called “Teen Time!” and is the site’s youngest paid contributor, has also written album, film and concert reviews, artist interviews, essays, and lists for Huffington Post, Culture Collide (formerly Filter Magazine), The Wild Honey Pie, and CVLT Nation.

His column “Eli’s Dope TuneFeed” is on JerseyBeat.com, New Jersey’s top visited indie arts website. Zeger’s blog, which offers his latest content and original articles, is EZTunefeed.tumblr.com.

Along with his writing pursuits, Zeger is also a musician. He plays in local bands and studies bass at School of Rock Montclair.
