Montclair 2018 Holiday Tree Lighting, Santa Visit & Mailbox
Kids can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy winter attractions at this holiday event in Montclair.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Montclair Recreation & Cultural Affairs, the Montclair Center BID, and the FMBA will present the annual township tree-lighting on Friday, Dec. 7 with a visit from “a very special Victorian Santa.”
The event will take place at 6 p.m. on Church Street Plaza, according to a municipal news release. (Click here for more information)

“Kids can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy lots of winter attractions – experience a “snowy” winter festival with the Fabulous Fezziwigs carolers, ice carvings, a giant snow globe, roasting s’mores over fire pits, hot cocoa, lots of activities for kids and more. The Montclair Community Band will play holiday music throughout the evening.”
SANTA COMES TO TOWN
In addition to the Dec. 7 event, Santa Claus will make his annual visits to Montclair's business districts on Saturday, December 8 at the below addresses:

- 11 a.m. – St. James Church- (Bellevue Avenue & Valley Road )
- 11:30 a.m. – Watchung Plaza
- Noon – Walnut Street Plaza
- 12:30 p.m. - South End Business District (Orange & Cedar avenues)

Mail a letter to Santa and he'll mail one back. Letters can be mailed to:

Letters may also be dropped off at the Recreation Office at the above address. No letters after December 14, officials said.
