Montclair Bakery Brings Back ‘Golden Doughnut’ Contest
The lucky winner gets a free doughnut a day for a year. Military members/veterans get a free doughnut on June 7 for National Doughnut Day.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair bakery is bringing back its “Golden Doughnut” contest for National Doughnut Day 2019.
The Montclair Bread Company will commemorate this year’s festivities on Friday, June 7 by offering patrons a chance to win a free doughnut every day for a year. To enter, pastry lovers need to pre-order a box before the big day… one of which will contain the lucky “Golden Doughnut.”
Free doughnut privileges for the winner will run from June 8 to June 8, 2020. Pre-orders can be made here. Email hello@montclairbread.com to learn how to enter the Golden Doughnut contest without making a purchase.

The bakery will also be offering a free doughnut to active duty military and veterans with ID on Friday, June 7.
According to the Montclair Bread Co., National Doughnut Day started in 1938 by the Salvation Army, as a way to honor the Salvation Army “Lassies” of World War I, who served doughnuts to the soldiers.
