Montclair Cancels Government Meetings, Services

Montclair Township officials said a number of government meetings and services would be cancelled due to the winter storm.

Refuse and recycling collection and senior citizen shuttle services are cancelled Tuesday and possibly Wednesday.

The municipal court session scheduled for Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. is cancelled.

A planning board workshop scheduled for tonight is cancelled.

Street parking is prohibited until all roads have been cleared and are subject to towing. Drivers can park in municipal lots or in the Fullerton Deck, free of charge.

All recreation department programs have been cancelled for tonight and tomorrow.

Sledding at Mountainside Park will be permitted once the storm ends and snow has been cleared from the roads. No skating is allowed on Edgemont Pond.

Residents are reminded not to redeposit snow on the street when snowblowing or shoveling from sidewalks.
