Montclair Deputy Mayor Bob Russo Announces Support for Mark Dunec

Russo became the ninth current and former Mayor to announce his support of Mark Dunec's candidacy to represent the 11th district.

Democratic congressional candidate Mark Dunec, of Livingston, announced the support of Montclair Deputy Mayor Bob Russo. Russo became the ninth current and former Mayor to announce his support of Mark Dunec’s candidacy to represent the 11th district.

“I am honored and thrilled to receive this endorsement,” said Dunec. “I look forward to working with experienced elected officials at all levels of government to help the communities of the 11th district. Together, we will solve issues that affect municipalities such as economic development, natural disaster preparedness, and ensuring Montclair receives an equal share of tax revenue.”

Russo served as the Mayor of Montclair from 2000-2004. First elected to council 1992, Russo has a track record of constituent services and currently serves as the President of the Consumer League of New Jersey. He is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers-Newark and Montclair State University.
