Montclair Food Pantry Wants Your Thanksgiving Turkeys

The Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair is accepting donations of frozen turkeys. They're hoping to stock up by Nov. 17.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Gobble gobble… the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair needs donations of frozen turkeys to help your in-need neighbors have a happy Thanksgiving.

The local nonprofit, which serves nearby Essex County, put out the following call for donations on Wednesday:

“Turkey call! Right now, we have very few Thanksgiving foods in our warehouse. If possible, we would like to have all holiday food donations in our building at 9 Label St. by Saturday, November 17. In addition to our usual Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to noon, we will be open extra days and hours to accept donations, as follows: Friday, 11/16 - 8 am until 1:30 pm, Saturday, 11/17 - 8 am until 1:30 pm and Sunday, 11/18 8:30 am until 3 pm. Please share this far and wide! Thank you!”
