Montclair Gymnast Wins First on Beam

A Montclair gymnast, member of the The South Mountain YMCA Aces Gymnastics B team, took home first and fourth place finishes in her meet Saturday, against the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA.

Taylor Milch of Montclair (level 7, B division, 13 and under) won first on beam with an 8.1 and fourth on floor with a 7.8, as well as third All Around.  

Other notable results include:

• Kellyn Shuster of South Orange, (level 8 A team), won first on beam with an 8.9 and second on floor with a 7.7.

• Grace Healey of South Orange (level 7, B, 12 and under) won 2nd on bars (6.8), beam (8.1) and floor (7.9).

• Taylor Milch of Montclair (level 7, B division, 13 and under) won first on beam with an 8.1 and fourth on floor with a 7.8, as well as third All Around.  

• Jordan Dodson of East Orange (level 7, B, 12 and under) was tied for third (7.1) on both beam  (7.1)and floor (7.2)

This was the first B level competition for several team members.
