Montclair Hailed As One Of Jersey's Best Food Towns

Montclair has always been known as a great town for foodies. And praise for the town's restaurants just keeps pouring in.
Last month, New Jersey Monthly released its annual list of the state's 25 best restaurants and three Montclair eateries made the cut:  , and . The number topped those achieved by Bloomfield, Maplewood, and even Hoboken.

Now, The Star-Ledger has released its list of the state's top 12 towns for food lovers.
Among them: Montclair.

The article said that even though Montclair may come off as affluent and stuffy, its dining scene is surprisingly diverse. There are more than 200 restaurants, food shops, and stores packed into the 6.3-square-mile town, boasting everything from Brazilian to Ethiopian cuisine.
And new restaurants are opening up all the time including , a Lebanese restaurant on Bloomfield Avenue just down from the Montclair Art Museum, and , an Italian restaurant in Upper Montclair.
Specifically, the article highlights , Fascino, , , , Â (especially if you are looking for a romantic night out), and Blu, the overall Critic's Choice.
