Montclair Movie Director Ken Brown Wins Award From Newark Black Film Festival
Documentary will be shown Thursday night.
The 2010 Paul Robeson Award for Best Short Film from the Newark Black Film Festival has been awarded to Montclair resident and movie director Ken Brown. His documentary, "Look! I'm in College!" follows four NYC public school students as they participate in the Pace University inclusion program. The film is narrated by Montclair resident and Sesame Street's Gordon, Roscoe Orman.
A screening of the film will take place tonight, Thursday night, at the New Jersy State Museu, 205 West State Street, in Trenton, New Jersey. A reception at 5 p.m. will be followed by a 6 p.m. screening. Brown will attend the screening.
