Montclair Parents Create Inspirational Video For Their HS Grads

MONTCLAIR, NJ — In a time where everything seems to be falling apart, a group of parents in Montclair recently found a common thread to bind them together: their kids.

It hasn’t been an easy year for seniors at Montclair High School, who have already seen the cancellation of their prom and uncertainty around their graduation ceremonies. So with that thought in mind, several parents, teachers and media professionals came together to produce an inspiring video for the MHS class of 2020.

Appropriately, they’ve dubbed it “It’s Your Time To Fly.” (Watch the video below)

A member of the production team, David Greenbaum, said the effort leveraged the talent pool of Montclair’s filmmaking and media community to “do something to help the kids become whole.”

“We had professional editors, directors and production teams rise up as volunteers to get the job done,” Greenbaum said. “Montclair is an extraordinary community with an extraordinary diversity of faces and families.”
