Montclair Police Probe Home Burglaries
Wheeler Street and Lloyd Road residents report recent break-ins.
Montclair Police are investigating a pair of residential burglaries.
According to police, a Wheeler Street resident reported a Samsung Tablet, about $400 in cash and a Sony PS3 game console missing on July 2. The resident left for work at about 7 a.m. and returned at about 3:15 p.m. that day and found the apartment door had been tampered, police said.

A second burglary was reported on July 3 at a Lloyd Road residence. The resident reported a Cannon camera, U.S. passport, Amazon Kindle, iPod and jewelry were stolen sometime between June 21 and June 23, police said. There was no sign of forced entry, police said.
