Montclair Police: Stolen Car Recovered, BMW Theft Reported

Montclair PD: A vehicle previously stolen in the township was recovered. A car was stolen from a driveway.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police said a vehicle previously stolen in the township was recently recovered in Newark. In a separate incident, a car was stolen from a driveway on Orange Road, authorities said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the following incidents were recently reported in the township.

  • April 14 – “A 2009 Honda CRV that had previously been reported stolen from Montclair on March 25 was recovered parked and unoccupied by New Jersey State Police in Newark.”
  • April 18 (Orange Road) – “A 2019 BMW X6 was stolen from the driveway of an Orange Road residence. The victim reported that he last saw his vehicle at 7 p.m. the previous night.”
