Montclair Resident Claims James Street Construction Violates Code

Plans to bring up issue to Township Council

A James Street resident is claiming that ongoing construction on his street is in violation of township code.

According to the resident, the property at 58 James St. has been hosting heavy construction machinery, which allegedly contradicts the R2 zoning designation for James Street.

The resident said that he plans to bring the potential code violation up at Tuesday’s Township Council meeting.
