Montclair Resident Reports 2 Burglary Attempts At Her Home: PD
The morning after both incidents, the victim found window screens damaged, cut or removed completely, Montclair police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair resident recently reported back-to-back burglary attempts at her apartment, police say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the victim said the burglary attempts took place on Sunday and Monday between 3 and 4 a.m.
The victim said she heard someone trying to get into the apartment via the windows on the east and south facing sides of her building. The morning after both incidents, she found the window screens damaged, cut or removed completely, police stated.

The resident never saw any suspect, and nobody gained entry into the apartment, police said.
