Montclair Restaurant Burglarized, Door Kicked In: Police
A restaurant on Bloomfield Avenue was burglarized and had its front door kicked in, Montclair police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair restaurant on Bloomfield Avenue was burglarized and had its front door kicked in earlier this month, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to the New Jin Lin Restaurant on April 9 after getting a report about a burglary.
The owner found the front glass door kicked in after arriving at the restaurant, police said.

“Surveillance video shows that at 4:34 a.m., the suspect makes entry into the restaurant by breaking the front door,” police stated. “Moments later he proceeds to the cash register and removes approximately $100 in cash.”
Police described the suspect as a male wearing a dark-colored jacket, long pants, dark-colored shoes/sneakers and a dark colored "beanie" winter hat.
