Montclair Restaurant Violated Gov. Order, Served Indoors: Police
The owner of Cuban Pete's restaurant in Montclair was cited for allegedly violating Gov. Murphy's ban on indoor dining, state police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair restaurant got hit with a violation for allegedly serving customers indoors last weekend, state police reported.
During Gov. Phil Murphy’s coronavirus briefing on Monday, Col. Pat Callahan of the New Jersey State Police said Cuban Pete’s on Bloomfield Avenue was among three locations cited for executive order violations last weekend.
New Jersey restaurants are still banned from serving customers indoors, as of Monday. They can offer outdoor dining, takeout and delivery.

Callahan said Montclair police responded to the restaurant after receiving a report about indoor dining. The owner was charged with violating the executive order, he said.
