Montclair Runner 1st Female Finisher In Cherry Blossom Race

The race was part of the ongoing Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival, which culminates on Sunday, April 23.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — It couldn’t have been a nicer day to win a race. Earlier this month, Montclair resident Alexandra Niles made her mark as the first female finisher in the Essex County Cherry Blossom 10K Run in Essex County Branch Brook Park.

The race was part of the ongoing Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival, which culminates on Sunday, April 23.

Niles completed the race in 37:35.93, race organizers stated.
