Montclair's Alma Schneider to Appear on 'Today' Show

The kitchen guru will appear on TV both Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Montclair mother and businesswoman Alma Schneider launched her blog and consulting company, Take Back the Kitchen, five years ago. And she's been helping people ever since to address their individual obstacles to cooking so that they can begin whipping up easy, healthy, and affordable meals for their families.

This week, Schneider will be sharing some of her wisdom with the nation.

On Monday evening, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time, Schneider will appear in four cooking interstitials—or 60-second spots—in between four scheduled situation comedies on TV Land.

Then, on Tuesday morning, Schneider will appear on the "Today" show starring Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb at 10 a.m. Eastern on NBC.

During the interstitials, Schneider said she will be describing eight different dishes that she made that are somehow related to the four comedies being shown from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

"For example, I fused a Midwest dish with a dish from Los Angeles for the show 'Hot in Cleveland' in which women from LA move to Cleveland (with Betty White)," she said.

For the "Today" show, "I will be discussing how to make easy, delicious, healthy dishes from what we already have in the house and how to identify our obstacles in the kitchen," Schneider said.

Congratulations Alma!
