Montclair School Admins Accused Of Sabotaging Custodians: Report

Report: A pair of Montclair custodians allege that buildings were left "filthy" as a result of a bitter dispute between staff and admins.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of head custodians are alleging that buildings throughout the Montclair Public School District have been left “filthy” enough to endanger students as a result of a years-long dispute between administrators and staff, a report says.

The custodians’ claims were published in a Montclair Local report. Read the full article here.

According to the custodians, the accused officials tried to bully and “sabotage” employees they deemed disloyal, resulting in health hazards such as asbestos, rodents and extreme temperatures at multiple buildings in the district. Superintendent Jonathan Ponds said the matter will be investigated by an outside entity.
