Montclair Synagogue To Hold ‘Latkepalooza’ For Chanukah

Enjoy the Festival of Lights with food, music, tikkun olam and hands-on fun activities for families at Bnai Keshet's Latkepalooza 2018, from 6 to 9 pm, Friday, December 7. The Chanukah celebration is open to the public at 99 South Fullerton Ave., Montclair.
The first seating at 6 pm will feature fried fresh latkes served hot along with happy singing and fun activities for kids, as well as an adult-only BYOB space. The activities will include decorating donuts and make-your-own clay, paper or LEGO dreidels. There will be a candle lighting with Chanukah songs at 6:45 pm. Live music will be provided by Midnight Nosh and special guest vocalist Aviva Patz and Daniel Brenner on guitar, Ben Weiss on bass and Craig Levine on drums.

Organizers ask that those in attendance bring an unwrapped gift of a *new and unused* educational book or game which will be donated to Babyland Family Services in Newark (programs include a Family Violence Shelter and adolescent foster care).
