Montclair Theft, Burglary Reported: Pizzeria Oil And Bike Stolen

Recent thefts in Montclair include a $469 bicycle and a cooking oil from a local pizzeria, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Recent thefts in Montclair include a $469 bicycle and a cooking oil from a local pizzeria, police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the following incidents were recently reported in the township:

March 12 (Walnut Street) - Management at Panzano Pizzeria reported a theft of cooking oil from their exterior oil containers. At the time of the report, the amount and value of the oil was still being determined.

March 12 (North Mountain Avenue) - The resident reported that an unsecured shed in the rear of their property was entered. Missing at this time was an adult sized, gray, "Roll Sport" bicycle with black handle bars and a black basket on the front handlebars. The bicycle was purchased for $469.

March 15 (Park Street) - The complainant reported that he arrived to his office and discovered pry marks on his office door. Entry did not appear to have been gained. The incident reportedly occurred between 3 p.m. on March 13 and 3 p.m. on March 15.
