Montclair Township Offices, Schools Remain Closed

Montclair Township said non-emergency offices remain closed as the state works to dig out of the winter storm that dumped up to eight inches in North Jersey.

Montclair Public Schools also remained closed and that kindergarten tours scheduled for yesterday and later this afternoon were cancelled. Alternative tour dates would be announced next month. 

The National Weather Service reported that six inches fell at Newark International Airport and 8.1 inches fell in North Bergen. Higher amounts were reported in Long Island.
