What is Montclair doing for "aging in place” senior residents? Are you concerned about the rising housing costs in Montclair?
Aging In Montclair invites you to their Saturday September Program on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. to find out more about The Montclair Senior Housing Action Group (MSHAG) that was formed by older local residents to focus public awareness on the town’s growing housing needs and to advocate immediate and long-term remedies. The MSHAG highlights all residents facing the current housing crises, particularly seniors who wish to “age in place,” but feel that they are being priced out of their own hometown.

Led by Andrea Peyser, AIM’s former president and founding member, MSHAG members will talk about the need for zoning changes, a more practical accessory dwelling unit law (ADUs or Granny Pods) and the importance of keeping rent control protections for older adults. Join this important dialogue with questions and concerns.
To attend this program, please email AIM at aginginmontclair@gmail.com by Sept. 24.
You will receive a zoom link to the Saturday program.
