Montclair Workshop Will Teach Home Renters About Tenant Rights

Topics at the Montclair event will include leases, security deposits, evictions and New Jersey's "Truth in Renting" regulations.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Want to know more about your rights as a home renter in New Jersey?

As part of a series of workshops aimed at easing the burden of finding a place to live, Montclair-based nonprofit HomeCorp will host a seminar about “tenant rights and responsibilities” in rental housing on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

The workshop will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the HomeCorp office at 17 Talbot Street in Montclair. People must register to attend at www.homecorp.org.
