MONTCLAIR, NJ — Starting Jan. 4, the Midtown Parking Lot in Montclair will be closed to all vehicles.

The Montclair Parking Utility announced in a news release the lot will remain closed while the Midtown Parking Deck is constructed. During this time, the lot will be closed off with fencing, and any cars left in the lot will be towed.

As a result of the closure, there will be no access to the back side of Bloomfield Avenue Businesses that usually have access from Glenridge Avenue. Employees of those businesses who do not have township parking permitted will be allowed to park in the Crescent Deck.
