Montclair's Pig & Prince to Host 2nd Annual Oktoberfest

Pig & Prince Restaurant & Gastrolounge, where sophisticated food and a casual atmosphere co-exist, today announced that it will host its second annual Oktoberfest celebration featuring eight of the Metro area’s best craft breweries, all day craft beer specials, amazing food including German favorites, an appearance by DJ Lindsay Klein and the WDHA-FM street team and more on Sunday, October 5 from 12:00 p.m– 7:00 p.m.

Pig & Prince’s Oktoberfest will feature representatives from the area’s most popular local craft breweries including Brooklyn Brewery,Ramstein, Weyerbacher, Flying Dog Brewery, Brewery Ommegang,River Horse Brewing Co., Kane Brewing Company and Carton Brewing.A completely different format from last year’s event, Pig & Prince Oktoberfest will operate on a token system – meaning guests can purchase tokens for $5.00 each, or 5 tokens for $20. Tokens are redeemable for food and beer and EVERYTHING is one token. Admission to the event is $20 per person at the door and includes a 12.5 ounce pint glass – for guests to keep – and one token (a $5.00 value).

We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our second Oktoberfest than by hosting an event of this caliber featuring traditional German foods with some of the best craft beers around. Our goal is to be recognized as Montclair’s craft beer hub, and to host a marquee event that we can build on for years to come.”
