MPD to Host Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The U.S. DEA is sponsoring a national program to take back prescription drugs and the MPD will host their own event on September 27.

On Saturday September 27 the Montclair Police Department will participate in a “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.”

Between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., community members are invited to drop off and dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs. The collection will take place at MPD headquarters, located at 647 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair.

Similar to a gun buyback event, participants will not be questioned. The event will be free and anonymous.
