NJ Transit Train Strikes Person In Montclair Near Bay Street
A NJ Transit train hit a "trespasser," officials said. Montclair-Boonton Line rail service was temporarily suspended.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A NJ Transit train hit a person near Bay Street in Montclair on Monday night, authorities said.
NJ Transit temporarily suspended Montclair-Boonton Line Rail Service between the Bay Street and Watchung Avenue stations in both directions due to the "trespasser strike." Delays of up to 60 minutes were reported.
The injured person was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries, a NJ Transit spokesperson told NorthJersey.com . There were no injuries to the 400 customers on board, they said.
