Packages Stolen From Front Porch

Montclair resident said she discovered box open and jewelry, clothes missing.

A Montclair resident told police packages were stolen from her front porch earlier this month.

The victim said the packages containing a Juicy Couture rhinestone chain necklace and toddler clothes, valued at $50, were left at her house on the 70 block of Claremont Avenue at 10 a.m. on Dec. 9. She said she discovered an open box on her porch at 5 p.m. that evening.

Last month, a Church Street resident told police a stranger signed for a package containing a purchase from Brookstone.
