Pickup Truck Stolen In Newark, Found In Montclair: Police

A stolen pickup truck was found in Montclair. A day later, someone stole a Suzuki motorcycle from a local resident, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of vehicles were recently reported stolen in Montclair, authorities said Monday.

The Montclair Police Department released the following details about each incident.

  • April 30 - (Nishuane Road) An officer located a 1999 Ford F35 Pickup truck reported stolen from Newark parked unoccupied on Nishuane Road. The vehicle was impounded and the owner was notified of its recovery.
  • May 1 - (High Street) The resident reported her 2006 Suzuki stolen between 4 p.m. on April 30, and 5:45 p.m. on May 1. The vehicle was reportedly left unlocked.
