Pig and Prince to Ring in 2015 with 1950's 'Rockabilly' Sock Hop

The Montclair New Year's Eve celebration will feature a nine-piece "Rockabilly" Band, 50's inspired cuisine and open bar.

Pig & Prince Restaurant & Gastrolounge will host an all-inclusive New Year’s Eve Rockabilly Sock Hop fit for the King of Rock n Roll himself. The event includes a 1950’s inspired diner cuisine, ice bar, malted milkshakes, cigar roller, games and live music by a nine-piece “Rockabilly” band, Rhymin’ Bobby Diamond & the Rock Hards. Additionally, guests are encouraged to dress in their best 1950’s inspired attire.

“We want to ring in 2015 with a fun event featuring the earliest style of Rock ‘n Roll - Rockabilly,” said Mike Carrino, chef and partner, Pig & Prince Restaurant & Gastrolouge. “From top to bottom, this New Year’s Eve party has it all – open bar, a 1950’s diner-inspired featuring malted milkshakes, burger sliders, waffle fries, mac and cheese bites, caramel corn, games and great live music. On the heels of the success of last year’s Gatsby themed party, we expect this year’s event will be one that will be remembered for many years.”

Capped at 150 celebrants, Pig & Prince’s “Rockabilly” Sock Hop New Year’s Eve party is all-inclusive and costs $160 per person ($150 per person for groups six or more). Reservations can be made by calling Pig & Prince directly at 973-233-1006 or emailinginfo@pig&prince.com /or/ events@pigandprince.com.
