This event will be held on Saturday, December 6 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Bnai Keshet located at 99 S. Fullerton Avenue in Montclair.
Hanukkah is a time to focus on light. During this season we bring awareness to the ways we experience darkness and light. Lighting small lights help us peer into the darkness, so that we can illuminate whatever is present – our vulnerability, fear, strengths, joy, beauty and pain - with gentleness and compassion.
Join in for a day of Mindfulness Meditation exploring how Hanukkah can be lived as a practice of growth and hope that is a source of light during the darkest time of the year. This half day will incorporate chant, study, discussion, gentle movement and periods of silent mindfulness meditation.
- Led by: Rabbi Rex Perlmeter and Beth Sandweiss.
- Fee: $25
