Power Outages Still Linger In Montclair After Storm: PSEG
Montclair was among the North Jersey towns that saw power outages after a severe storm ripped through the state.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair was among the North Jersey towns that saw power outages after a severe storm ripped through the state Tuesday night.
More than 45,000 New Jersey customers remained without electricity on Wednesday morning. Initially, more than 80,000 customers lost power.
Thousands of PSE&G customers were affected. The outages hit JCP&L customers as well; the utility company reported that more than 39,000 were without power throughout the Garden State as of 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday. Read More: More Than 45K Remain Without Power In NJ Following Thunderstorms

As of 9 a.m. on Wednesday, PSE&G’s online outage map showed nine active outages in Montclair, affecting 152 out of 19,258 customers served.
