Updated: PSEG Responding to Gas Leak in Montclair

PSE&G said that utility crews were dispatched this afternoon to a reported residential gas leak at 45 Beverly Road in Montclair.

Officials did not have any immediate information on whether there were any evacuations, injuries or other damage to property.

Montclair Police Department earlier today said that Gordonhurst Avenue would be closed between Grove Street and Waterbury Road until at least 8 p.m. due to emergency repair work by PSE&G.

Beverley Road or Carolin Road should be used as alternatives.
