Salvation Army Montclair Needs Your Help

The food pantry supply is running low.

The Salvation Army Montclair's food pantry supply is running low and needs the community's help. In order to continue to serve meals and provide food for friends and neighbors the Salvation Army needs canned goods such as tuna, beef stew, hearty soups, canned pasta, tomato sauce, chili and canned fruit. The pantry also needs items such as crackers, peanut butter. cereal, macaroni and cheese, and rice.

In Major Larry Ashcraft's words, "Many people think of the hungry at holiday time. Hunger is not a seasonal disorder."

In order to continue the broad scope of community aid, the Salvation Army has other needs as well. The items needed are men's and women's underwear, in all sizes, scarfs, boxed candy, baseball caps, playing cards, new tee shirts, and water bottles. These items help support many of the Salvation Army's activities in your community. Cash donations are also welcomed for the Salvation Army to continue serving those in need.
