Shop Montclair Boutiques For Fashion’s Night Out

In celebration of Fashion’s Night Out, Born Again Vintage in Montclair is throwing a party on Sept. 6 designed to mark the relaunch of the couture shop—one that will emphasize eco-friendly clothing made from vintage and recyclable fabrics.

The main attraction: Born Again Vintage will host an exclusive fashion show beginning at 8 p.m.

"Sustainable fashion is as important as recycling. You can help the environment and stay fashionable," says Bridgett Artise, owner of Born Again Vintage. “Born Again Vintage is the meeting of two eras, the past and the future. In bringing the worlds of yesterday and today together into a unique form of fashion, this line is where classic meets funky, sophisticated meets urban and timeless meets now."

An annual event, Fashion's Night Out will play out not only in Montclair, but in cities across the country and around the world. The iconic extravaganza brings models, editors, and designers together at thousands of fashion events each September.

In Montclair, Fashion's Night Out will start with a special shopping hour for moms and daughters at the at 6 p.m. That will lead to a full-scale fashion show at Gallery U Contemporary starting at 7 p.m. featuring designs from Speakeasy Village, Blackbird Lane, Bumblebee, and One Savvy Design. At 8 p.m., Sofistafunk Clothing will preview its fall collection with a fashion show at Parlor Hair Studio.

The evening will end with "closing ceremonies" and a fashion raffle giveaway provided by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics at 8:30 p.m., back at Atelier, with desserts and refreshments provided by Salute. 

Coinciding with the event will be the reopening of Born Again Vintage, which previously was called Atelier 516.

6 p.m., opening ceremonies and mommy and me shopping hour at Atelier at 4 South Fullerton Ave.

7 p.m., fashion show at Gallery U, 179 Glenridge Ave.

8 p.m., fashion show at Parlor Hair Studio, 223 Glenridge Ave.

8:30 p.m., closing ceremonies, raffle, and photo shoots at Atelier, 4 South Fullerton Ave.

Reserved seating tickets can be purchased for $5 at Gallery U or Atelier.
