Skateboard Enthusiasts Seek Ideas From Nearby Towns For Skatepark
Livingston, Bloomfield, and Sayreville all offer ideas.
Skatepark in Montclair NJ! has asked the Town Council for its support as they seek private funds to build a skatepark in Montclair.
The council could vote on a resolution stating its support as early as its next meeting on July 20th.
Skatepark in Montclair NJ! has been looking at skateparks in other towns for inspiration. Many skateboard enthusiasts like the skatepark in Sayreville, where people skateboard at their own risk but are forced to wear helmets. They aren't as keen on the skatepark in Bloomfield, which boasts a fence as well as an attendant, increasing the town's liability.
