Smiling Dog From Montclair Animal Shelter Warms Hearts
His name is Beans. And yes, he's real, the Montclair Animal Shelter says.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — His name is Beans. And yes, he’s real.
That’s the caption the Montclair Township Animal Shelter shared on a recent social media post featuring a particularly photogenic pooch and his heartwarming smile.
Some local animal lovers wrote that Beans’ smile inspired one of their own. “What a smile!” one gushed. “I see a little Jim Carrey!” another wrote.

Here’s what Montclair Animal Shelter Director Liz Morgan told Patch about the energetic doggie, who is available for adoption as of Thursday:
“Beans is a 10-month-old Jack Russell terrier / chihuahua mix. He is fully grown at 24 pounds. He is very active and needs regular exercise. He is good with other dogs, no cats. Teen kids would be best.”
