SoR MTC to Live Stream Fundraising Concert for MusiCares

On Thursday, 5/27, the House Band of SoR Montclair will present a concert supporting MusiCares, a foundation that helps musicians in need.

On Thursday, May 27, the House Band of School of Rock Montclair w ill present a concert in support of MusiCares, a national foundation that provides health and welfare services to professional musicians in times of financial, personal, or medical crisis. The concert will be live streamed on the School’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels from 4:30 to 5:30PM.

“MusiCares does wonderful work for musicians across the country who are in need,” says Kevin March, General Manager of School of Rock Montclair. “With all of the challenges that so many of our neighbors have faced over the past year, we felt that it was important to also show love for musicians who are having difficulties, and our students are eager to contribute their talents to support this incredible organization.”

The House Band’s one hour concert will feature energetic hits by Boston, Def Leppard, Earth Wind & Fire, The B-52’s, Harry Styles, Extreme, Incubus, Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Journey, and The Gorillaz.

School of Rock Montclair’s fundraising concert for MusiCares will stream on the School’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages on Thursday, 5/27 at 4:30PM. Donations to MusiCares can be made in the School’s name before, during, or after the performance.
